Sometimes when singing duets some lines dont register its always the backing singer ie player 2, unusual cause when we sing the songs as solos they work fine. Anyone else had this problem?

This is because some songs have a harmony line as well as the original singer, so one player must do the harmony line, which is usually sligtly higher or lower than the original phrase, and somebody else takes lead. This is both very clever and very frustrating!

My friend said it might be something like that but i wasnt sure as usually it tells you in most game but we really need duet specific songs like you have in singstar.

Yea but sometimes...when you know damn well you hit the notes...it just doesn't register or even try to pick you up, it's like the mic gives up on you lol

Yep, one of the many issues with the new NOH... I have tried singing in every tone/pitch/volume possible and can never get a line to register, which makes playing duets incredibly frustrating!

Hi, i have the exact same problem. In duet the person that 'enters' in the song to sing his part in the duet the mic doesn't pick up anything. When  singing alone even in duet it works fine.

Any solutions?

There ISN'T a solution because, and I'm not meaning to sound harsh, you're singing it wrong! They're called HARMONIES. I did explain it about 3 posts ago..
