Hey Lips fans!
This is a serious thread and i am not sure what we need to do to get things fixed
Why has the Disc Swapping poor decision not been addressed? Please tell us why we cant we are willing to pay to do so?
Microsoft is not supporting the orignal game like MS said they would. I love NOH over the firsts LIPS but come on already
Is this going to be fixed or not
Please release more DLC faster there is 2 songs i want in November only..booo
PLEASE put the xmas music back in and new Xmas music. Im having some XMAS partys and the music would be nice..
I am just so disapointed

I feel the same way, I keep checking these forums with the misplaced hope that maybe something will get addressed by iNiS.
Even if they came on here, apologised, and said what they were doing to solve the issues.
I would prefer it if they just said "the disc swapping will stay, and we cannot do anything about it" at least we would know (and we could send the game back or avoid it) Hmmm... perhaps I can see why they are staying quiet!!!
The support from iNiS officially sucks balls!!!

How hard would it be for them to make something like came with rockband 2? Pay 10 bucks, put in the original disk, wait about 10 minutes and BAM....you have all your songs on NOH. Possible??

Is this a quote from associate producer, Karena Tyan?

This chick has made only one post ever on this board and that was in Sept 09. She doesn't care about us at all. Last time she visited the forums was Oct 25, 5 days after the games release, and she never said anything to us about anything even though the boards were filled with angry people. this girl needs to be FIRED!!!!!!!!!

Can I just make a comment?
If Karena from the forums is the same as Associate Producer Karena then maybe she's working on issues instead of replying to your forum posts.
I used to do community management myself in the past so I know developers read issues (and they don't reply, they've got more important work on their plates) - they ESPECIALLY browse the forums soon after a game's launch, and try to fix the issues that come up. I don't know if you guys remember but the Guitar Hero community was a mess at launch, that took I think MONTHS to sort out.
And actually, a lot of times community moderators do nothing but damage control. They tell you "we're listening" and they suggest work arounds but they don't give you a fix. But you know what happens here? We get fixes. They're not instantaneous, they're not all at once, but what do you expect? People are at their desks working hard to troubleshoot and fix your problems. The best thing you can do right now is identify issues in detail, post with clarity, don't waste the dev's time with flame threads, and then wait. And I get it, you're frustrated, but games launch with issues. I personally am really impressed that Lips has FIXED a lot (but not all) of its issues within a few weeks of the game's launch. That's really impressive turnaround.
Also, Karena usually posts on the blog not in here. AND you don't have to be logged in to read forum posts. I rarely
log in myself, just felt the need to this time because I think stalking
and harassing the one person who listens to us is a HUGE mistake. She's made posts addressing a number of fixes through the beginning of November, so frankly Oct 25 is weak evidence of 'listening'. It's just evidence that Karena is NOT wasting our time with pointless 'damage control' posts like I mentioned earlier. I think that's great, I think it means (especially if she's a producer and not a mod) that things are being worked on!
Just my two cents.

Sorry Kenny, her last blog post proved you wrong. When addressing issues, she made no mention of this issue, or made any statement indicating that they are looking into it (that's all we want), and instead used the time to advertise more DLC.
Very lame

If this chick is the associate producer then I once again state that she needs to be fired. A game should never be shipped with Class A bugs in it. Yet this game had several of them. Two patches for the game in less then a week after being released is rediculous, what about all of those people who bought that game and don't have intenet access at all? hmmm? what about them? I guess they are stuck with a broken game.
Also not everyone reads the blog, I never did until I found that they were posting stuff there that should have been posted here.
Go to the Rock Band forums, that is an example of a community forum that works. Where the devs interact with the customers, and give important info and status updates to the community.

I think I am going to contact the BBB and consumer protection agency here in Canada about this. The marketing is misleading and microsoft is not answering the community's questions or dealing with the issues...hell they are not even providing a statement. I want my Money back for lips and lips NOH and all DLC because they have runied the experience for me and my friends who come over to party..
What a shame..i have a PS3 too but dont wanna spend a fortune on DLC and buying new games for PS3. I only have uncharted 1 and 2 right now. I wish i woul dhave had my PS3 before i bought the first lips because if i knew MS would not give two craps about the community than i would have gone with singstar

After all weeks of trying to get an answer from inis and microsoft and tired and being ignored. I went out and bought singstar, and it is so much better then either lips. The fact that there is over 700 songs to choose from is enough to blow away the lips franchise. I bought a 50 dollar playstation network card, spent the whole thing on singstar DLC and I didn't even put a dent into how many of the songs I wanted to download, plus the songs are cheaper, only $1.49 per song.
Unfortunately it is a playstation only video game, so those poor Lips owners who don't also own a PS3 are suck with Lips.
If I had known about singstar before, I wouldn't even have bothered with Lips or Lips:NOH
