Additional Game Add-On fixes now available

Hi, Lips fans,
 
After a brief delay, the fixes for incompatible holiday DLC and Coldplay's "In My Place" are available. For "In My Place", please follow the steps for deleting and re-downloading your Game Add-On data as previously described in another post.
 
The fix for holiday DLC has additional steps for re-downloading your DLC. To restore "Blue Christmas" by Elvis Presley, "Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer" by Gene Autry, and/or "It's The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" by Andy Williams, please follow the following steps:
  1. Delete the song data from your Xbox as described in Steps 1-6 here
  2. Go to http://marketplace.xbox.com
  3. Sign in to the Live ID associated with your gamertag.
    NOTE: Make sure you sign in with the account that originally bought the DLC in question.
  4. Mouse over the "My Account" drop down on your Marketplace page and click on "Purchase History".
  5. The list of purchases is organized by date of purchase. Find the link to the relevant songs and click "Add to Queue" for each.
  6. You can confirm your queue contains all relevant songs by clicking on "Download Queue" on the left-hand menu.
  7. Turn on your Xbox and connect to LIVE - the queued songs should automatically begin re-downloading.
Please note, this fix only works for the listed DLC. If your DLC is not on this list, and you are having problems with one of your game add-ons, please reply to this post with the following details:
  •  Name of Game Add-On
  •  Details of error: When does the error occur (on download, when you attempt to play) and what is the error message that pops up?
  •  When did this error occur? When did you last encounter an error when you attempted to play or download this DLC
  •  What steps did you take to resolve this issue? What have you tried to fix this problem? What were the results?

We will continue to investigate issues with downloadable content that you are having with Lips: Number One Hits, so please let us know as many details as possible to help us in our investigation. Thank you!
 
Also, this week's DLC is out! Hop on your Xbox to download and play the latest from the Lips team: "Angel Of The Morning" by Juice Newton, "Shy Boy" by Bananarama, and "You Keep Me Hangin' On" by the Supremes.

    One thing that's horrible about this game is that the orginal has the same acheievments as the One Hitter and it makes it seem like you have the same game.so you think you can challenge each other ;;WRONG;; you cant challenge those that have the One Hitter if you have the original...My friend made the mistake of buying the wrong game and got the One Hits instead of the Original...and We cant play together..Sucks!!!

    Details of error: Trophie problems with my Acc. can't get awards but i finish the song in the top 50!There are several songs I have finished in the top 1000 and I get nothing.I still got 0 Trophies.

    What steps did you take to resolve this issue? Checking manuals/on forums for help.

    Name of Game Add-On: Lips.

    Details of error: Requires a disc swap, doesn't show previews or album art.

    When did this error occur? Before and after every single song from the original Lips game.

    What steps did you take to resolve this issue? What have you tried to fix this problem? What were the results? Asked Microsoft to licenses the songs, much like Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Band Hero and every other music game has done. No response yet from Microsoft.

    I have a problem using the original Lips content from my addon (I am using "Deutsche Partyknaller", btw ...) after a disc change. My box always tells me, that the disc is unreadable, but when I start it alone, it works flawlessly. It is very annoying, that the drive makes a (very) short attempt to read and then gives up.

    Add a retry button, or at least don't reboot the whole XBox and let me continue with the game I started.

    Removing the disc change as a whole and let me play songs from HD would fix my problem as well ;-)

    My personal favorit solution to the disc changing problem is the following: Start Lips Number #1 hits with the #1 hits disc. than add an option, that all installed other games (original lips and "Deutsche Partyknaller") work without disc change, if i insert the other discs on the start of #1 hits!

    Thanks a lot for the help but seriously, couldn't you please release a patch that let people install the first lips songs on the HD to avoid swapping discs? Rock Band did that so it shouldn't be that hard for Microsoft. Please?
